Australian and New Zealand Orthopaedic Nurses Alliance invites you to the 9th Biennial International ANZONA Conference, to be held 27-29 October 2021 at Hilton Adelaide, and titled “ANZONA 2021: Building Resilience & Recovery into Orthopaedic Nursing”.
We invite your support at our conference for clinicians involved in Orthopaedics and its sub-specialty areas. We are hoping to attract all clinicians working in the field located in the many and varied orthopaedic settings that exist.
The national and international conference has a proud history of hosting this biennial event. The last conference in Perth attracted 240 delegates and Sydney before that, recorded in excess of 300 delegates. The Adelaide Conference aims to attract 250 plus delegates given its ideal location. As the orthopaedic nursing community has reached out across countries it has become easier to communicate to members via social media on Facebook, Twitter, and through our state branch social media networks via SAON, ANZONA, ICON; through international journals, webinars and teleconferences.
We are seeking to move orthopaedic clinicians foward by setting the following conference aims:
• Build resilience.
• Recover and restore by creating a shared experience that fosters collegiality and networking.
• Offer a programme that allows delegates to listen and learn from each other.
• Provide delegates with skills and knowledge to adapt to contemporary trends.
• Present papers with a clinical, research, management, and education focus.
The Conference begins on the evening of Wednesday 27 October 2021 for the ANZONA AGM and Welcome Drinks that will take place at the centrally located Adelaide Hilton: a five-star hotel to start the conference experience of networking and exchanging ideas. This location provides the opportunity for delegates to meet, eat and sleep under one roof. The 2 day conference will follow on Thursday 28 October and Friday 29 October 2021. We hope you will join us for a fun and stimulating conference!
